Federal University of Lafia to Host Annual Conference on Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence

Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State, will host the 2024 Annual Conference of the Association of Philosophy Professionals of Nigeria (APPON) from October 2nd to 5th. This year’s theme, "Philosophy, Artificial Intelligence, and Cultural Impacts," will address the complex interplay between AI advancements and cultural dynamics.

The conference will cover a range of topics, including the ethical dilemmas of AI, its impact on human identity, and cultural biases in AI algorithms. Key discussions will explore AI’s potential to revolutionize various domains such as healthcare and education, alongside its potential risks to cultural traditions and societal norms.
