The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated 50,000 notebooks to public primary schools in Kogi State, as part of her "Renewed Hope Initiative" project.

The distribution ceremony was inaugurated by Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, the wife of the Kogi Governor, at the Glass House, Government House in Lokoja on Thursday.

In her address, Hajia Ododo lauded Mrs. Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to enhancing education and empowering children in public schools across the nation. She underscored Mrs. Tinubu’s visionary leadership and fervor for quality education, stating that the initiative serves as an inspiring model to emulate.

The Governor’s wife pledged her support for the First Lady’s endeavors to improve educational outcomes. She announced that the notebooks would be distributed throughout the state and urged Kogi residents to back her husband’s efforts to progress the state.

Hajiya Fatima Momoh, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, applauded Mrs. Tinubu’s efforts to elevate education standards nationwide. Mall. Salihu Usman, representing the forum of Education Secretaries, pledged fair distribution of the notebooks.
