Former Elechi Amadi Polytechnic SUG Leader Killed Amid Rivers State Political Turmoil

Endwell Ejindu, a former Student Union Government (SUG) President of Elechi Amadi Polytechnic in Port Harcourt, has been shot dead during the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State. The incident occurred in the Ahoada East Local Government Area.

Ejindu, who served as SUG president during the 2017/2018 academic session, was part of a youth protest at the council headquarters on Tuesday. He was shot at close range by unknown assailants along the Ula-Upata Road in Ahoada main town around 9 PM.

At the time of reporting, the Rivers State Police Command had not issued a statement on the incident.
