Former IMSU SUG President Receives Prestigious Leadership Award
Oguike Arinze Aristotle, former President of Imo State University’s Students Union Government, has been named Most Active Senior Comrade Leader of the Year by the 18th Republic Student Union Government Executive Council.

The 18th Republic Student Union Government Executive Council of Imo State University, Owerri, has honored Oguike Arinze Aristotle with the title of Most Active Senior Comrade Leader of the Year.
In his acceptance message, Aristotle shared his deep sense of gratitude and humility. "I am overwhelmed with gratitude and humility as I receive the award for the Most Active Senior Comrade Leader of the Year. This recognition is a testament to the trust and confidence you have in me, and I am deeply honored to have been considered worthy of this prestigious award."
Reflecting on his tenure, Aristotle expressed pride in his role as Union President during the 2019/2020 academic session and his commitment to advocating for students' rights. "I am proud to have served as the Union President during the 2019/2020 academic session, and I am thrilled to have played a role in fighting for the rights of our students. This award is not just a personal recognition but also a validation of our collective efforts to create a better academic environment for all."
He extended his thanks for the honor and looked forward to continued contributions to the university's growth. "Thank you for this wonderful surprise. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the growth and development of our alma mater, Imo State University."
