FULafia Hosts International Conference on Resource Management Amid Economic Challenges

The Faculty of Management Sciences at the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) recently hosted its inaugural Annual International Conference, themed "Resilient Resource Management Amidst Economic Turmoil: Strategies for Sustainable National Development."
Held at the MIS Multi-Purpose Hall on the university's permanent site, the conference aimed to foster dialogue, exchange innovative ideas, and address resource management challenges to promote sustainable national development.
The Vice-Chancellor of FULafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, represented by Professor Muhammad Tanko Aliyu, emphasized the conference's importance in addressing strategies for economic resilience. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Kyari Mohammed Dikwa, Founder of Al-Ansar University Maiduguri and Al-Ansar Foundation. Papers were presented by Professor Kabiru Isa Dandaga of Bayero University, Kano, and Professor Uche Uwaleke from Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
The conference featured four virtual sessions and one physical session, providing participants with a comprehensive exploration of strategies for effective resource management during economic crises.
