FULOKOJA, CAR-NASRDA Organize 1st International Conference on Atmospheric, Earth and Space Sciences

The Centre for Atmospheric Research (CAR), Anyigba, an activity Centre of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) in collaboration with the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Kogi State, has scheduled its 1st International Conference on Atmospheric, Earth and Space Sciences to hold between 22nd and 25th September 2024.

THEME: 

ATMOSPHERIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Preface

Anthropogenic pollution attributed to noncompliance with regulations and standards has resulted in a global environmental crisis and prevalence of respiratory tract diseases, thus, has become a leading area of scientific research worldwide. 

The Centre for Atmospheric Research (CAR) Conference on Atmospheric, Earth and Space Sciences shall show-case fundamental and cutting-edge research findings by focusing on Geosciences processes and their applications from observational, experimental, theoretical, and computational approaches to achieve relevant sustainable development goals in Nigeria and World at large.

It will provide ample time for direct discussion and networking opportunities as well as to address in-depth questions and answers on specific topics unique to the fields. United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) particularly goals 2, 3, 7, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 17 could be well addressed in our immediate environment with the outcome of this scientific meeting aimed at deliberating human-induced climate change factors and solutions from a scientific point of views.

Conference of the Parties (COP) has established ways of checkmating climate change through climate action and justice that could be achieved through scientific research and interdisciplinary collaboration expected at the end of this meeting.
