The 8th Convocation Ceremony at the Federal University of Lokoja is in full swing, with today marking Day 3, highlighted by an exciting Research Fair and Exhibition. This event promises to showcase a range of innovative research outputs and breakthroughs from various faculties, alongside products developed by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Kogi indigenous arts and crafts and witness a maize threshing demonstration presented by the Faculty of Agriculture. The theme for this year’s fair is “Research and Innovation for Enhancing Enterprise Development and Wealth Creation in a Developing Economy: Lessons and Challenges.”
Esteemed resource person Professor John O. Alabi will lead discussions on the pivotal role of research and innovation in fostering economic growth and addressing local challenges.
