FULOKOJA Senate renews Prof. Abdullahi Emmanuel Bala appointment as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Admin)

The Senate of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has renewed the appointment of Professor Abdullahi Emmanuel Bala as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) for another term of two (2) years based on his satisfactory performance within the past two (2) years.

The renewal of the appointment was based on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor as stipulated in the Universities (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1993, as amended.

Recall that Senate at its 67th meeting held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, approved the appointment of Professor Bala as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) for a term of two (2) years which can be renewed for another period of two (2) years, subject to Senate approval.

Following the expiration of the initial two (2) years as contained in the Act, the Senate of the University at its 79th meeting held recently, unanimously approved the renewal of the appointment for another period of two (2) years with effect from November 3, 2023, following the positive report of his performance by the Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate who presided over the meeting.
