FULOKOJA Set for 22nd Inaugural Lecture by Prof Ayodele Bamidele

The 22nd Inaugural Lecture of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 11th September 2024, at 4:00 PM. The lecture, titled "Beyond Entertainment: Unraveling the African Novel as a Utilitarian Art," will be delivered by Professor Ayodele Anthony Bamidele, a distinguished Professor of Contemporary African Literature.
In his upcoming lecture, Professor Bamidele will explore the African novel’s role beyond entertainment, highlighting how it serves as a powerful tool for education, societal development, and activism. His research delves into the utilitarian aspect of African literature, aiming to demonstrate its significance in addressing contemporary issues facing African societies.
