FULOKOJA Student Daniel Oche Wins N2 Million at Kogi International Carnival Music Competition
Daniel Dennis Oche, a 400-level Physics student at FUL, wins N2 million as the First Runner-up at the Kogi International Carnival Music Talent Hunt 2024.
A 400-level Physics student of Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA ), Daniel Dennis Oche, popularly known as Dheneazi, has won N2,000,000 and other cash prizes at the ongoing Kogi International Carnival 2024, which began on Sunday in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
Dheneazi achieved this feat as the First Runner-up in the Kogi Music Talent Hunt, an event organized as part of the carnival's activities. In addition to the N2 million grand prize, he received a $500 donation and funding for a music video production, pledged by one of the event’s sponsors.
A Milestone for Dheneazi
Speaking after his win, Dheneazi expressed overwhelming joy and gratitude, describing the competition as a life-changing experience. He shared that this was his first participation in a talent hunt of such magnitude and encouraged other budding talents within the university community to believe in their abilities.
“I never thought I would make it this far. This shows that nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it. To my fellow upcoming artistes in the university, don’t underrate your gifts. You never know where they will take you,” Dheneazi said, amid tears of joy.
