FULOKOJA VC Inaugurates Course 3 PhD Students of Institute of Governance and Development Studies

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, has officially declared the commencement of academic activities for the third set of PhD students of the Institute of Governance and Development Studies (IGDS) at the Abuja Study Center.

The elite postgraduate programs offered by the Institute are run in partnership with the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Abuja. The Vice-Chancellor expressed appreciation to God for making the establishment of the Institute and the collaboration with NILDS a reality.

Professor Akinwumi congratulated the new PhD students and charged them to prepare for a rigorous academic journey. He urged them to ensure they give it their all to complete the program without delay, emphasizing that they can finish in record time if they put in the necessary effort.

Members of the University Management were present at the event, including the Provost of the College of Postgraduate Studies, Director of IGDS, and other senior officials. The event marked another historic moment for the University as it continues to expand its postgraduate programs.
