FULOKOJA VC, Prof. Akinwumi, Receives Prestigious APPON Fellowship Award

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, has been honored with a Distinguished Fellowship Award by the Association of Philosophy Professionals of Nigeria (APPPON).

The award recognizes Professor Akinwumi's outstanding contributions to academia and philosophical inquiry in Nigeria.

At an investiture ceremony held on October 4, 2024, at the Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State, APPON National President, Alloy S. Ihuah, PhD, praised Professor Akinwumi's exemplary leadership, commitment to promoting higher education, and enhancing academic programs.

Professor Akinwumi, represented by Professor Abubakar Muhammed, expressed gratitude for the honor and reaffirmed his dedication to academic excellence and the importance of philosophy in shaping critical thinking and ethical leadership.
