In light of rising security challenges nationwide, the University stressed that ID cards are critical for proper identification and help security personnel distinguish members of the University community from visitors. The measure also strengthens access control to sensitive facilities and overall campus safety.
The University has granted a three-week grace period from the date of this announcement, after which enforcement will commence. Any staff member or student without a valid ID card will be denied access to the Senate Building and other designated restricted areas.
Members of the University community who have misplaced their ID cards are urged to initiate the replacement process immediately through the appropriate University channels.
