Godfrey Okoye University has partnered with an Austrian firm to open a first class bakery on the school's premises.

Myschoolnews reports the first batch of the products of the Bakery was presented to the public recently during a Holy Mass at the Omnium Sanctorum Chaplaincy, Thinker’s Corner Enugu.

The products are Plain and Power Breads as well as Sweet Bread 

The Vice Chancellor of the University and Rector of the Chaplaincy, Reverend Father Professor Christian Anieke, who presented the bread to the public during a Holy Mass at the Chaplaincy, announced that the GO-Austrian Bread would be in the market from the first of July 2023, stressing that the prices would be affordable.

He said that virtually all the materials used in the production of the bread were sourced locally and were not harmful to the body. 

In a comment, a member of the Chaplaincy, Mrs Jane Chukwu, expressed satisfaction with the quality of the bread, stressing that it would meet the needs of the people. 

The high point of the event was the distribution of the bread to the members of the Chaplaincy.
