Gombe State University Extends Eid-el-Fitr Celebrations with Public Holidays

Gombe State University, located in Tudun-Wada, Gombe State, extends warm greetings to the entire university community as it announces the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

In an internal memo dated 8th April, 2024, addressed to all staff and students, the Registrar's Office communicates the Federal Government's declaration of Tuesday, 9th and Wednesday, 10th April, 2024, as public holidays to mark this year's Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aliyu Usman El-Nafaty, OFR, extends heartfelt wishes for a joyous and celebratory Eid to all members of the University community, with a particular emphasis on the Muslim faithful.

Normal work activities are scheduled to resume on Thursday, 11th April, 2024.

The memo, signed by Abubakar Ibrahim Difa, Deputy Registrar, Establishment (Establishment Secretary), on behalf of the Registrar, ensures that the university community is duly informed and prepared for the holiday break.

The circular was copied to various university officials, including the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Bursar, University Librarian, Provost of COMS, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and other relevant units within the university.
