Bayero University, Kano Announces Eid-el-Fitr Holiday

Bayero University Kano, through its Information, Publication & Documentation Division, under the Office of the Registrar, extends warm greetings to the university community as it announces the Eid-el-Fitr holiday.

In a general circular dated 8th April, 2024, addressed to all members of the university community, the Federal Government's declaration of Tuesday, 9th and Wednesday, 10th April, 2024, as public holidays to mark Eid el-Fitr celebration was communicated. However, staff on shift duty, emergency, or essential services in various units are expected to report for duty as usual.

Normal work activities are scheduled to resume on Thursday, 11th April, 2024.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, FMAN, on behalf of the Management, extends heartfelt wishes for a hitch-free Sallah celebration and Allah's blessings to all members of the University community. He emphasizes the importance of upholding the teachings of the Holy month of Ramadan for a peaceful and prosperous nation.
