Gombe State University Holds Supplementary Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony for Pharmacy Graduates

Gombe State University's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences held a supplementary induction and oath-taking ceremony for pharmacy graduates on March 19, 2025. Eight graduates were formally inducted into the profession, having successfully met all requirements and passed necessary examinations.

 

Professor Abdulkadir Zezi, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, congratulated the graduates and expressed gratitude to the University Management for their continuous support. Ag Vice-Chancellor Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta commended the graduates' perseverance and hard work, emphasizing the university's commitment to producing highly skilled professionals.

Key management staff attended the ceremony, including Professor Danladi M. Umar, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), and Dr. Henry Maina Abareh, University Librarian. The oath was administered by Pharmacist Rhoda Aminu Stephen, representing the Registrar of the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria.

The Vice-Chancellor reassured the graduates that Gombe State University will continue to provide quality education and training, urging them to conduct themselves as ambassadors of both the university and Nigeria.
