During the Visit

The Governing Council of Paul University, Awka, led by Chairman and Pro-Chancellor Prince Dr. Emeka Eze, recently made a congratulatory courtesy visit to Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Carol Arinze-Umobi, who is also a Council member.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Chinyere Stella Okunna praised Professor Arinze-Umobi during the visit, highlighting her determination, academic excellence, and proven track record. Professor Okunna expressed confidence in Arinze-Umobi’s ability to make a substantial impact in her new role.

Vice-Chancellor Venerable Professor Obiora Nwosu congratulated Professor Arinze-Umobi on her appointment, acknowledging the Council’s decision to extend formal felicitations.

Council member Professor Emma Ezenwaji also expressed gratitude for Arinze-Umobi’s appointment, praising her commitment and promising the Council’s full support. His Royal Highness Sir Professor C. M. Anikweze, traditional ruler of Awkuzu and Dean of Education, offered his blessings and prayers for guidance and protection.

In response, Professor Arinze-Umobi thanked the Council for their visit and honor. She emphasized her commitment to strengthening ties between Paul University and Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), and expressed appreciation for the Pro-Chancellor’s dedication to advancing the University’s mission.

The delegation included notable members such as Professor Clifford Nwanna, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, Associate Professor Rose Nwankwo, Venerable Dr. G. O. Madubuike, Dr. Ekene Dibua, Mr. Emmanuel Okafor, Uju Anyaoku, and Blessing Okafor.
