Governor Otti Appoints Dr. Christopher Okoro Kalu as Abia State Polytechnic New Rector

In a bid to enhance the educational sector in Abia State, Governor Dr. Alex Otti has appointed Dr. Christopher Okoro Kalu as the new Rector for Abia State Polytechnic, Aba. The appointment comes as part of a series of changes aimed at bolstering various institutions and agencies across the state.

Dr. Kalu, a seasoned academician, previously served as a senior lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU). With his wealth of experience and expertise, he is poised to lead Abia Polytechnic towards greater heights of excellence.

Kalu as the Executive Secretary of Primary Healthcare, Dr. Chimezie Okwuonu as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Specialist/Diagnostic Centre in Umuahia, and Prof. Ijeoma Nduka as the CMD of ABSUTH, among others.
