Gregory University Uturu Hosts Historic Radiography Induction Ceremony

Gregory University, Uturu, recently held its first Radiography Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony, marking a significant milestone for the institution's Department of Radiography. The event celebrated the pioneer graduands of the department.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished professionals and personalities in the field of radiography. The Registrar of the Medical Rehabilitation Radiography Board of Nigeria (RRBN), Professor Mark Chukwudi Okeji, commended Gregory University for being one of the four private universities in Nigeria offering Radiography with full NUC accreditation.

The Guest Speaker, Elder Ini Ekanem, emphasized that radiography practice is broad and multifaceted. He encouraged the inductees to become technical stewards and policy advocates, highlighting the importance of continuous skill development and professional growth in radiography.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Regina Ogali, charged the inductees to strive for excellence and positively impact the lives of patients and society.

The best graduand, Ogiribo O. Glory, expressed gratitude to God and appreciation for the lecturers' guidance, promising to uphold the university's values.
