The Management of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt, has officially confirmed the commencement of the disbursement of student loans under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The Management of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt, has officially confirmed the commencement of the disbursement of student loans under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2024/2025 academic session.

In a statement signed by the Registrar, Dr. C. A. Ajie, and released on behalf of the Acting Vice Chancellor, the University congratulated students whose applications were successful in the first batch of the NELFUND rollout. Beneficiaries had applied through the official NELFUND portal at https://nelf.gov.ng, covering both tuition and upkeep components of the loan scheme.

According to the University, students who had already paid their tuition fees prior to the disbursement will be refunded immediately. For those yet to pay, their student portals have now been updated to reflect that NELFUND has settled their tuition obligations for the 2024/2025 academic year.
