Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Honors Founder with Senate Building Naming

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), has paid tribute to its founder, the late Engineer AbdulKadir Kure, by naming the university's first Senate Building after him. This gesture recognizes Kure's pivotal role in establishing and developing the institution.

The university was built with the support of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), and Kure oversaw the design and construction of many of its structures. The naming of the Senate Building after him serves as a lasting testament to his legacy.
