Students of the Tourism Management Technology department at Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic (IMAP Lafia) have launched a tourism awareness campaign aimed at educating the public on the true meaning and wide-ranging benefits of tourism. 

The initiative seeks to dispel misconceptions by promoting a deeper understanding of the tourism industry’s potential for economic growth, cultural exchange, and sustainable development. According to the students, many people mistakenly view tourism solely as travel and leisure, overlooking its broader impact on local economies, environmental conservation, and community development.

Through outreach programs, social media engagement, and public events, the campaign aims to:
