Imo Assembly Urges Gov. Uzodimma to Establish New College of Nursing in Inyishi

The Imo State House of Assembly has passed a resolution calling on Governor Hope Uzodimma to approve the establishment of a College of Nursing in Inyishi, Ikeduru Local Government Area.
The resolution, which was sponsored by Johnleoba Iheoha, the representative of Ikeduru State Constituency, emphasizes the need to alleviate the strain on existing nursing institutions due to increased demand for healthcare services across the state.

Mr. Iheoha highlighted the positive impact of recent health policies and improved medical equipment on healthcare delivery in Imo State. He stressed the importance of training more nurses to support the state's extensive network of primary health centers and rural health services effectively.
