A delegation from the office of the Accountant General of the Federation visited Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN) for the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) biometric capture exercise.

This exercise fulfills the requirements for a smooth transition of ADUN to full federal University status.

At a reception welcoming the team, Deputy Bursar and Chairman of the Plannning Committee on ADUN IPPIS verification, Dr. Gabriel Ediri offered his greetings in his welcome remarks.

University Registrar Cdre. Isaac M. Mankilik (rtd), PhD, followed with brief remarks. He welcomed the IPPIS team and expressed the University's eagerness for the exercise. He acknowledged the challenges of transitioning but assured the team of ADUN's commitment to following proper procedures.

IPPIS team leader Mr. Dewa Umar Mahmud expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome. He recognized that ADUN is not the first agency to undergo IPPIS enrollment and assured them of his team's full cooperation. Mr. Dewa emphasized their mandate to ensure the enrollment of all ADUN staff.

The Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Dili Ofuokwu, welcomed the guests and commended the IPPIS initiative. He expressed the University's appreciation for the team's presence in carrying out their statutory duty.

The Bursar, Captain M. O. Abani, acknowledged the benefits of joining IPPIS. He thanked the team leader and members for taking time from their busy schedules.

He also expressed gratitude to the Acting Vice Chancellor for the warm reception and to the management for ensuring a smooth experience for the IPPIS team.
