Kaduna State University to Host Free Eye Screening and Lecture

Kaduna State University (KASU) is set to host a special lecture and free eye screening exercise in commemoration of World Sight Day, organized by the Muslim World League.

The event will take place on Monday, October 6, 2025, and will feature free eye screening, medication, and cataract surgery for those in need.

The eye screening will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, except for University Management members who will receive priority. The lecture will be held at the 500-Seater Pharmacy Lecture Theater, while the eye screening and treatment will take place at the Multi-purpose Hall.

This initiative aims to promote eye health awareness and provide medical services to staff and students. The university community is encouraged to attend and take advantage of this valuable health opportunity.
