Kano State Polytechnic Rector Praises Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for Renovation of School of Technology

The Rector of Kano State Polytechnic, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, FCA, has commended the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his commitment to the educational sector, particularly for overseeing the general renovation of the School of Technology (SOT).
Dr. Farouk expressed his appreciation on Thursday, 22nd August 2024, during an inspection visit to the ongoing renovation works at the school. Speaking on behalf of the Governing Council, management, staff, and students of the institution, he thanked the Governor for his dedication to addressing the educational needs of the people of Kano State. He emphasized that the renovation project would significantly enhance the teaching and learning environment at the school.
The Rector also noted that this renovation is another example of the Governor's promise to prioritize education in the state. The project follows Governor Yusuf's unscheduled visit to the school on Sunday, 11th August 2024, where he pledged to restore the institution’s former glory.
The renovation of the School of Technology is seen as a major step toward fulfilling that commitment.
