Kebbi State Government Donates Ambulances and Vehicles to Hospitals and Institutions, Including Kebbi State University Teaching Hospital

Kebbi State Government Donates Ambulances and Vehicles to Hospitals and Institutions, Including Kebbi State University Teaching Hospital

Kebbi State Government made a significant contribution to healthcare and public services on Friday by donating brand-new, ultramodern ambulances to hospitals across the state. The donation also extended to operational vehicles for various ministries and agencies, including a new bus for the Government House press crew and a Hilux vehicle for the Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue Service.

The hospitals receiving ambulances include General Hospital Argungu, Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital Birnin Kebbi, Martha Bamaiyi General Hospital Zuru, Kebbi State University Teaching Hospital Kalgo, and General Hospitals in Bunza, Yauri, and Jega. Additionally, the Ministries of Women Affairs and Education, as well as the College of Nursing Sciences and Midwifery in Birnin Kebbi, were provided with new operational vehicles.

Governor Idris instructed beneficiaries to ensure proper use and maintenance of the vehicles, particularly noting that ambulances should remain on hospital premises. He stressed the importance of accountability by limiting the number of drivers per vehicle to facilitate responsibility in case of issues.

The Governor highlighted the critical role of ambulances in efficient hospital operations and patient transport, reaffirming his commitment to improving healthcare services and public infrastructure in Kebbi State.
