Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Declares Work‑Free Day to Honor Late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi

The Vice‑Chancellor of the university, speaking on behalf of the University Council, Senate, staff, students and the entire university community, announced a work‑free day as a tribute to the late revered Islamic scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, who passed away on 26 November 2025 at the age of 102  .

In the official statement, the Vice‑Chancellor offered heartfelt prayers for the repose of Sheikh Bauchi’s soul, asking Allah (SWT) to grant him eternal peace and elevate him to Jannatul Firdaus.
