Kogi State Polytechnic, in a recent development has notified students of crucial changes regarding the signing out ceremony protocol. The institution's Chief Security Officer (CSO), Onuh Emmanuel Attah, issued a directive prohibiting the traditional attire and practices associated with the signing out ceremony.

Effective immediately, students are no longer permitted to wear white shirts during the signing out ceremony.

Furthermore, the use of personal vehicles by students during the signing out process has also been restricted.

Students are advised to take their celebrations to their respective homes. Students and stakeholders are encouraged to adhere strictly to these guidelines to breed a conducive learning and living environment within the school.
