Currently serving as the Acting Vice Chancellor of KWASU, Prof. Shaykh-Lukman previously held the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor from 2020 to 2022.
With a wealth of experience as both an administrator and a university scholar, Prof. Shaykh-Lukman brings invaluable expertise to his new role. His academic journey has been adorned with numerous accolades, including being named the Best Graduating Student of the Department of Religions at the University of Ilorin in 1988. Additionally, he has been the recipient of prestigious awards such as the University Undergraduate Scholarship Award (1987/1988) and the title of University Scholar for the academic year 1987/1988.
Prof. Shaykh-Lukman's contributions extend beyond academia, as he holds memberships in esteemed professional bodies like the Chartered Institute of Public Advocacy and Management. He is also a valued member of the Council of Experts for the International Centre on Contemporary Research in Islamic Sciences, based in the United Kingdom.
