The Lagos State University (LASU) Health Services has initiated the mandatory and comprehensive medical check-up for 100 level students, marking a crucial step in ensuring the well-being of the university community. In light of this development, the Director of LASU Health Services has earnestly called for cooperation and understanding from students, staff, and parents to facilitate the smooth and seamless running of the exercise.

Emphasizing the importance of collaboration, the Director appealed to all stakeholders not to interfere in the process, assuring that every student would receive due attention. The screening process is set to operate on a call-up basis, with approximately 50 to 70 students scheduled for assessment daily.

To participate in the medical screening, students are required to visit the LASU official website at www.lasu.edu.ng to print out their medical schedules. Subsequently, they are to proceed to the Health Centre (Old Building), outpatient section, located at the main campus in Ojo, Lagos. Along with their printed medical screening schedules, students must bring two recent passport photographs, a copy of the receipt for medical screening, and writing materials.

It's essential for students to adhere strictly to their scheduled screening dates, as failure to do so may result in sanctions. Furthermore, it is emphasized that parents, staff, alumni, and friends are not permitted at the screening venue throughout the duration of the exercise.
