LASU Students Win National Debate Competition
Ajeniya Abdulquadri and Oladipupo Ramadan, students from Lagos State University (LASU), won the Hon. Justice Umuezulike Foundation National Debate Competition.

Lagos State University (LASU) students, Ajeniya Abdulquadri and Oladipupo Ramadan, have emerged as winners of the Hon. Justice Umuezulike Foundation National Debate Competition. The competition, which was held virtually, saw participants from various universities submit recorded videos for different rounds.

Despite the challenges posed by the virtual format, Abdulquadri and Ramadan found the experience thrilling and unique, as it was their first time competing in such a manner. The duo successfully advanced from the initial stage to the semi-finals, ultimately securing victory in the finals.
This achievement adds to the impressive record of both students and highlights the prowess of the LASU Debate Society, of which they are active members. The university and the Debate Society are immensely proud of their accomplishment and look forward to their future successes.
