MAAUN Mourns Death of Student, Mubarak Ahmad

Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) has mourned the passing of one of its graduating students, Mubarak Ahmad Sa’idu, who died on Monday.

Aged 23, the deceased was a student of Accounting in the School of Social and Management Sciences.

In a condolence message on Monday, the President of the university, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr described the death of Mubarak as a shocking and devastating one.

“The death of Mubarak is a huge loss not only to his parents and relatives, but to the entire staff and students of the University.

"On behalf of the Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, I wish to extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the entire family and friends of the deceased,” Prof. Israr said.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to admit the deceased in the highest level of Janna and grant his entire family members the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The deceased had since been buried in his hometown, Keffi, Nasarawa State in accordance with the Islamic rites.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, ameen."
