Modibbo Adama University Students Union Requests Reconsideration of New School Fees Policy

The Students Union Government of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, has written to the Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students Affairs, requesting a reconsideration of the newly introduced school fees policy mandating spill-over students to pay for the entire academic session.

In the letter, the Students Union President, Kyauta Samuel Tari, expressed concerns about the financial burden this policy has placed on students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The union argued that the previous policy, which required spill-over students to pay fees only for the affected semester, was more reasonable and fair.
