Nasarawa State University, Keffi Appoints AI Specialist Prof. Nachamada Vachaku Blamah as Director of ICT

In a major boost to its digital transformation drive, Nasarawa State University, Keffi has appointed Professor Nachamada Vachaku Blamah, a distinguished Professor of Computer Science from the University of Jos, as the new Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Prof. Blamah brings world-class expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, and Software Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology, Yola, and completed a prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa.

Previously heading the Department of Computer Science at the University of Jos, his appointment is expected to accelerate NSUK's ICT infrastructure, AI integration in academics, research innovation, and overall digitalization efforts.
