Nigeria Nursing and Midwifery Council Releases September 2024 Midwifery Exam Results

 

 

The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) has announced the release of its September 2024 Professional Examination in Midwifery results, following approval from the Coordinating Honourable Minister of Health and Social Welfare.

 

 

Key Highlights of the Results:

 

- _Total Successful Candidates:_ 14,753, representing an 80% pass rate

- _Post Basic Midwifery:_ 2,137 candidates successful, with a 92% pass rate

- _Basic Midwifery:_ 1,835 candidates successful, with a 72% pass rate

- _Basic Midwifery (Refreshers):_ 16 candidates successful, with a 100% pass rate

- _Community Midwifery:_ 765 candidates successful, with an 89% pass rate

 

 

Successful candidates are required to register online and obtain their licenses through the NMCN portal ((https://portal.nmcn.gov.ng) starting September 16, 2024 ¹. They have 90 days to complete the registration process and pay the required fees. Failure to complete registration within 30 days will result in automatic deletion of the application .
