Nigerian Defence Academy Matriculates 441 Cadets from 30,000 Applicants
The distribution of cadets spans across different faculties, with 138 in Arts and Social Sciences, 118 in Sciences, 37 in Engineering and Technology, 55 in Management Sciences, and 91 in Military Science and Interdisciplinary Studies.
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) held its matriculation ceremony, welcoming 441 cadets into the various degree programs as part of the 75th Regular Course. Maj-Gen. John Ochai, the Commandant of NDA, revealed that out of 30,000 applicants, only 441 cadets, including one from The Gambia, secured admission.

Commandant Ochai emphasized the importance of discipline in their training, stating that the academy's focus is on equipping cadets for national defense. He highlighted the academy's growth from two faculties and six departments to five faculties and 23 departments, emphasizing collaborations with local and international institutions.
