Nigerian Society of Biochemistry Students Visit UNICROSS Ag. VC, Solicites for Support to Host National Conference

Emmanuel Ukam Upoh who is a 400 level student of Biochemistry Department in UNICROSS led a delegation to meet with the new Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Cross River State UNICROSS Prof. Stephen Ochang in Calabar Campus.

The National Executives of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry Students Nigeria led by the National President Comr. Emmanuel Ukam Upoh who is a 400 level student of Biochemistry Department in UNICROSS led a delegation to meet with the new Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Cross River State UNICROSS Prof. Stephen Ochang in Calabar Campus on the 17th may, 2024.

The meeting which had in attendance the Dean Students' Affairs Rev. Dr. Richard Antigha, the Chief Security Officer of the University Mr. Iwara Ibiang, the Public Relations Officer, Mr Onen, President of the Faculty of Physical Science (FAPSSA) Comr. Prince Ukam, Biochemistry Chapter President Cosmos Oyama, as well as Biochemistry Students of UNICROSS and University of Calabar, Calabar.
The National President Comr. Emmanuel Ukam who started by Congratulating the AG. Vice Chancellor over his recent appointment went further to talk about the National Biochemistry Conference which is scheduled to take place in UNICROSS and the importance of the Conference on Biochemistry Students in UNICROSS. He sought for the support of the School management to see to the success of the event on Campus.
The Faculty President of the Faculty of Physical Science Comr. Prince Ukam highlighted the importance of the conference to Biochemistry Students and all the events which are lined up during the conference and their academic impact on the students and further solicited for Management's support for especially in the area of constant Electricity during the conference, security, transportation and financial support from the management.

The Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Ochang admonished the Team and promised that the School management will do everything possible to assist in the best way they can to see to the success of the Conference as there is hope that the conference will have positive academic impact on UNICROSS Students.
The Teams of National Executives thanked the Vice Chancellor for the honour given to them by granting them audience despite his tight schedule.
