The 10th Annual Symposium of the American Chemical Society (ACS), Nigeria International Chemical Sciences Chapter, is set to take place at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) headquarters in Abuja from May 4 to 7, 2025. Themed “Advancing Sustainability Through AI-Driven Chemistry,” the event promises to explore innovative intersections between artificial intelligence and chemistry to address global challenges.

The symposium will be hosted by NOUN’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters, who will serve as the chief host of the prestigious gathering. Speaking about the upcoming event, Dr. Thompson Ezuagie, chairman of the Local Organising Committee, highlighted the significance of the theme, stating that the integration of AI into chemical research and industry could revolutionize sustainable practices and innovations.

Researchers and professionals from various areas of chemistry are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Submissions are now open and will be accepted under five key sub-themes:
