NSUK VC Prof Sa'adatu Hassan Liman Welcomes NUC Resource Verification Teams
Nasarawa State University welcomes NUC resource verification teams to assess various academic programs, ensuring quality education and compliance with national standards.
On Monday, 28th October 2024, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, warmly received the National Universities Commission (NUC) resource verification teams. This visit aims to assess various academic programs offered at the university to ensure they meet the required standards for quality education.
The verification teams will evaluate programs including Criminology and Security Studies, and Demography and Social Statistics, both housed in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Additional programs under review include Journalism, Broadcasting and Media Studies, and Public Relations from the Faculty of Media and Communication Studies, as well as Early Childhood Education and Primary Education Studies from the Faculty of Education.
Furthermore, the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences will have its Statistics and Data Analytics program examined.
This verification process is crucial for maintaining academic excellence and aligning the university's programs with national educational standards. The Vice-Chancellor expressed her commitment to fostering an environment of continuous improvement in the university's offerings.
