NUC Concludes November/December 2025 Accreditation Exercise at University of Abuja

The National Universities Commission (NUC) concluded its two-week long accreditation exercise for 32 academic programmes at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) today. The comprehensive exercise, which began on November 17, 2025, ended with the exit briefing of the evaluation team for the Doctor of Pharmacy programme.

Speaking at the closing session, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mathew Adamu, assured the NUC team that all recommendations made by the various accreditation panels have been carefully noted and documented for immediate implementation.

The accreditation panels assessed a wide range of programs across the university, including BSc Broadcasting, Development and Communication Studies, Geology and Gemmology, Biochemistry, Zoology, and Medical Laboratory Science, among others. The successful conclusion of the exercise is a crucial step in maintaining and enhancing academic standards at UNIABUJA.
