Obafemi Awolowo University Announces Convocation Charges for the 49th Convocation Ceremony

The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Administration has released the approved convocation charges for graduands participating in the 49th Convocation Ceremony.

The charges vary by level of study as follows:

• Diploma Students: ₦30,000.00
• Bachelor’s Degree Graduands: ₦40,000.00
• Postgraduate Diploma, Masters, and MPhil Graduands: ₦45,000.00
• PhD Graduands: ₦60,000.00

Graduands are required to make payments through the University e-portal under the Convocation Due section.

For PhD graduands, the PhD gown with its full complement is available for ₦50,000.00. Graduands interested in outright purchase of the PhD gown must make payments to the following account:

Graduands who make payments for gowns must present evidence of payment to collect their gowns. Additionally, all graduands are required to present proof of payment of convocation charges at their respective Faculties/Colleges to collect convocation materials.

The university management emphasizes that compliance with these payment and collection procedures is mandatory for participation in the convocation ceremony.
