The announcement was made during a management meeting led by Prof. Taiwo Ashaolu, Vice Chancellor of the University, on Wednesday, June 19. Prof. Ashaolu emphasized that the move marks a significant milestone in addressing concerns raised about issues such as low lecturer salaries and the economic hardships faced by university employees.
Under Governor Adeleke's directive, the university management is set to finalize the transition of these temporary positions into permanent roles, providing much-needed stability for the affected staff members.
