The announcement was made during a management meeting led by Prof. Taiwo Ashaolu, Vice Chancellor of the University, on Wednesday, June 19. Prof. Ashaolu emphasized that the move marks a significant milestone in addressing concerns raised about issues such as low lecturer salaries and the economic hardships faced by university employees.
