Patoranking Foundation and ALX Africa Launch $500K Tech Scholarship for African Innovators
The Patoranking Foundation, which has previously invested over $1 million in youth education, continues to challenge financial barriers and nurture Africa’s entrepreneurial talent through this scholarship and other educational initiatives.
The Patoranking Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by singer Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking, has launched a $500,000 tech scholarship in partnership with ALX Africa. This initiative aims to provide 40 young Africans with training in data analytics, cloud computing, and Salesforce administration.
Open to candidates aged 18 to 34 across Africa, the scholarship will cover the costs of transformative technology programs. Selected candidates, chosen through a rigorous review of application videos and essays, will gain access to in-demand tech skills and potential internships with leading tech companies.

Patoranking, emphasizing the foundation’s mission to advance education and entrepreneurship in Africa, stated, "This step takes us closer to our goal of equipping one million Africans within the next 10 years."
