The management of the Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the passing of Prof. Lateef Akanni Hussein, former Vice Chancellor of the University.

The details released by LASU to myschoolnews revealed that Prof. Lateef Akanni Hussein died after a brief illness on the evening of Sunday, 31st July 2022 at the age of 75years.

Lateef Akanni Hussain was a Nigerian physicist and educational administrator. He was the 7th substantive vice chancellor of Lagos State University. Hussein was the Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University from 2005 to 2011.
