Prof. Lawanson to Deliver Inaugural Lecture at UNILAG
Professor Olukemi Iyabode Lawanson of UNILAG’s Department of Economics will deliver the Seventh Inaugural Lecture of the 2024/2025 Academic Session on February 19, 2025, at J. F. Ade. Ajayi Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka.

Professor Olukemi Iyabode Lawanson of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG), is set to deliver the Seventh Inaugural Lecture of the 2024/2025 Academic Session. The lecture will take place on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the J. F. Ade. Ajayi Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka. Guests are expected to be seated by 3:45 p.m.
The Vice-Chancellor of UNILAG, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS, will preside over the event. Professor Lawanson's lecture, titled “To Everything There is a Season…”: The Perspective of a Labor Economist, will provide insights into labor economics from her academic and research perspective.
