Prof. Umaru Pate to Deliver Modibbo Adama University Convocation Lecture on Leadership and Peace

As part of its 29th and 30th Convocation ceremonies, Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has announced that Professor Umaru A. Pate will deliver the keynote Convocation Lecture.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibrahim Umar, acting on behalf of the University Council and Senate, invited the public and the academic community to the event themed: “Building Trust Amidst Conflict: Communication, Leadership and the Promise of Peaceful Coexistence in Nigeria.”

Professor Pate, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Kashere (FUK), Gombe State, is a distinguished communication scholar and public intellectual. Known by the traditional title Kaigamma Adamawa, Pate is recognized for his extensive work in utilizing communication as a tool for conflict resolution and national cohesion.
