Prof. Victor Makinde Assumes Office as New Dean of College of Physical Sciences at FUNAAB

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has witnessed a smooth transition of leadership in the College of Physical Sciences (COLPHYS) as Prof. Victor Makinde officially took over as the new Dean, succeeding Prof. Adio Akinwale. The handover ceremony was held on July 31, 2025.
Prof. Makinde emphasized the need for unity, cooperation, and adequate fundig to achieve success, appealing for collective support from staff to move the College forward. He expressed gratitude to his predecessors, especially the pioneer Dean, Prof. Oluyemisi Eromosele.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished scholars, including the Dean, Postgraduate School, Prof. Gboyega Adebayo, and other notable professors. They commended Prof. Akinwale for his visionary leadership and significant contributions to the growth of the College during his tenure.
