The event, organized by the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, has issued a call for papers, inviting submissions from a diverse range of participants.
Target Participants
The conference welcomes the academic community, cultural and creative sector, policy and governance stakeholders, industry professionals, and development and civil society actors to contribute their insights.

Submission Guidelines
Prospective participants are invited to submit an original abstract of no more than 250 words, indicating their sub-theme of interest. All conference sub-themes are open to propose papers that address the central theme and focus areas. Abstracts and panel proposals should be sent via email to fcmconference@rsu.edu.ng. The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2025.

Conference Details
The conference is scheduled for October 15-17, 2025, and will be held at the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Conference fees are as follows:

- International: $50
